Beauty With Brains
Dr Nilam Bansode prefers the title ‘vaidya’ to doctor -- she is a proud Ayurvedic practitioner. Bansode completed her education in BAMS and Panchakarma from Pune and also got a diploma in Yog and Ayurved which helps her in therapeutic yoga consultation. She says that for the love of Sanskrit language, she also did her MA in the language.
Talking about her clinic, Shree Vishwanand Ayurvedic Chikitsalaya, Bansode says that they started as small Ayurvedic clinic in Hadapsar but now with the trust of patients and magic of Ayurveda, they have relocated to a prime location. She claims that theirs is the only luxurious and well equipped Panchakarma centre in Maharashtra. “We’ve completed 20 years in the business with a lot of success which has now made us a leading Ayurveda and research centre,” says Bansode.
The centre offers Ayurvedic treatment for all sorts of health issues, all types of Panchakarma detoxification, therapeutic yoga, diet consultation and Suprajanan Garbhasanskar for unborn — all under one roof. “We ourselves prepare medicines for our patients depending on their requirement, which makes the treatment result orientated and exclusive to the patients,” says Bansode.
