I Am A Straight Forward Person

After spicing up the dance reality show, Nach Baliye 9 with his ex-girlfriend Madhurima Tuli, Vishal Aditya Singh has entered the 13th season of Bigg Boss as their seventh wild card entry. The actor says that he has no set strategy to survive in the house. “I am a happy-go-lucky person and I believe you should ‘do good, be good.’ I will just be honest on the show,” says the actor.

He is confident that nobody can break his confidence because he has seen life closely. “There are many people in the house who want to say something, don’t speak up. But I am straightforward. I listen to my heart,” he says.

There are advantages and disadvantages of being a wildcard entrant. Vishal has already watched the show and seen the other contestants perform, so he has an upper hand. As for the disadvantage, each contestant already has a fan base because people have been watching them for a month now. “Honestly, I have watched only three episodes, that to Weekend Ka Vaar. I stopped watching the show after that because I did not want to have any perceptions about anyone before entering the house. I prefer to meet a person before forming a perception about them,” he says, adding, “As far as fan following is concerned, I accept that the audiences are rooting for their favourite contestants. But I feel it takes just a few moments to win hearts, and I am going there to do juts that. I am doing the show because the makers were keen on me doing it. They are good people.”

Isn’t he physically tired after Nach Baliye, which required the participants to do hours of practice to perfect their dance moves? Bigg Boss too is going to be physically tough because it also involves tasks. “Both my body and mind are tired. But it’s not going affect me because the contestants do tasks for two days and on other days, they are chilling. I am either going to relax or do my tasks. It feels like I am going on a holiday, where the audience will get to see everything I do on it,” he informs.

When informed that the contestants just don’t sit idle— they cook, clean and often fight with each other too, he says, “I can do all of that (laughs). I can cook and cleaning the bathroom is my favourite task. Ask him who his favourite contestant is on the show, and he replies, “There are few who are playing very well including Siddharth Shukla, Rashami Desai, Paras Chabbra. They are quite visible too.”
