Healthy is cool!

Healthy is cool!

Since ‘health conscious’ is the new cool, restaurants and cafes have quickly caught on to the trend by providing nutritious yet sumptuous meals to those who are looking for it. But for how long will you step out for a wholesome nutrition? Runtastic, the fitness company, has launched a new app called Runtasty, which has a collection of simple recipes for all the people who love their food — healthy, nutritious and delicious.

This free app is packed with quick, simple, dietician-approved recipes that require very minimal ingredients. Even the pickiest of eaters are sure to love the wide variety of recipes that the app provides.

All you have to do is download the app and select the options that entice you the most. There are video instructions for all the recipes as well as convenient kitchen hacks explained in simple how-to videos. You can also learn how to cut an onion or a mango to prepare your meal. There are almost 23 categories on the app which consist of vegan, dairy free, gluten free, ready in 15 minutes breakfast, dinner and much more. You can also save your favourite recipes so that you don’t have to go through the hassle of searching them again. The creators have also included nutritional facts like calories, protein, fat and carbohydrates content of the dish which makes it easier for people to keep track of their intake. The convenient recipe icons included with each recipe indicate the preparation time, food allergies and other such information.

For the last few months, Runtastic has been posting such recipes on Runtasty, YouTube and its social media channels. But now, they are all aggregated in a single, easy-to-access space. The healthy options include recipes like Avocado Chicken Wrap, Berry Banana Smoothie Bowl, Vegetarian One Pot Pasta, Colourful Quinoa Salad. All the recipes are free and available in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese. So far, the app does not contain any in-app purchases which makes it easier to give it a try, although you do need an account to make use of it.
