With numerous revelations regarding the jodis who will be appearing on the popular dance reality show — Nach Baliye, we now seem to be getting some interesting tidbits on who might be judging the ninth season. If rumours are to be believed, former couple Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora might be seen together as judges on Nach Baliye 9, which will air on Star Plus in July.
The couple, who parted ways in 2016, have been very amicable with each other since the split. A source says that the former couple would make a fantastic duo as judges on the dance reality show. “This year, Salman Khan is producing the series and therefore the duo would be a preferred choice, not only because of their affinity towards the Dabangg star but also because of their popularity,” said the source.
While Malaika recently made her relationship with actor Arjun Kapoor official and the two are holidaying in New York, Arbaaz, on the other hand, is reportedly dating Italian model Giorgia Andriani.
A source from the team said, “Yes, Malaika and Arbaaz are being considered as potential judges for the show. Malaika, as we all know, is an excellent dancer and Arbaaz’s magnetic personality makes him one of the best choices. Both of them together make a fantastic jodi as judges.”
As far as the show is concerned, it will see a new concept of five ex-couples and five current couples, competing for the coveted title.
The actors whose names have been confirmed for the show include Urvashi Dholakia and Vishal Aditya Singh. Several other names are doing the rounds but the makers are yet to make an official announcement. ST
