Women’s Premier League from April 23

Pune: The city is all set to witness it’s first Women’s T20 Corporate Premier League from April 23. The matches will be played at Star Sports Cricket Academy ground, Dhyari, Varroc-Vengsarkar Cricket Academy and Deccan Gymkhana ground.

The final will be played on April 27 at Deccan Gymkhana. The tournament will see eight teams competing.
The event has been organised by Divine Stars Group. The tournament is a CSR activity  which is dedicated to  martyred soldiers from the  Indian Army.

“This year’s theme is ‘We Salute Our Soldiers. We  will be inviting  martyr families for the Inauguration Day to honor and provide them with small support on behalf of all the teams and sponsors,” said Sanjay Desai and Sandeep Chinchbankar directors of Divine Star Groups.
