Thyssenkrupp emerges overall champion

Overall, Thyssenkrupp scored 15 points while second placed Invistra secured 11 points.

PUNE: Thyssenkrupp emerged overall champions in the 56th Industrial Badminton tournament held at WIE Badminton Complex here on Saturday. 

Overall, Thyssenkrupp scored 15 points while second placed Invistra secured 11 points. The singles title was won by Ajay Malik  of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) as he beat Kunal Gole of Invistra 21-9, 21-11 while the doubles title was clinched by Kunal Gole and Samir Bhate who beat Adait Bhange and Satajit Devadhar 21-17, 21-18.

RESULTS:
Final: Ajay Malik (TCS) bt Kunal Gole (Invistra) 21-9, 21-11.
Semi-final: Kunal Gole (Invistra) bt Gourang Dharap (Bajaj) 21-16, 21-17; Ajay Malik (TCS) bt Nikhil Fadanis (Thyssenkrupp) 21-6, 21-20. 
Doubles:
Final: Kunal Gole (Invistra) and Samir Bhate (Invistra) bt Adait Bhange (Invistra) and Satajit Devadhar (Invistra) 21-17, 21-18.
