Three Maharashtra teams gear up for Isuzu RFC India

Maharashtra’s squad for the upcoming competition includes Pune’s Daulat Deepram Choudhary (co-driver Jeet Tapaswi), Sam Chunawala (co-driver Dushyant Khosla) and Mervyn Lim (co-driver Alex Tan), who will be representing Mumbai-based Team Fairmont.

PUNE: Three teams from Maharashtra will brought their act together in the  Rainforest Challenge - RFC  India annual off-road motorsport event,which will commence in Goa from July 21-28.

Maharashtra’s squad for the upcoming competition includes Pune’s Daulat Deepram Choudhary (co-driver Jeet Tapaswi), Sam Chunawala (co-driver Dushyant Khosla) and Mervyn Lim (co-driver Alex Tan), who will be representing Mumbai-based Team Fairmont.

The India Edition of RFC was launched by Delhi-based Cougar Motorsport Pvt. Ltd. in the year 2014. Today, RFC India is counted amongst the top three RFC Global events out of the 51 editions being held across 21 countries.

RFC India is an extreme off-road motorsport competition that tests the contestants’ driving and vehicle recovery skills, team spirit, along with their physical and mental strength under extreme off-road conditions.

“My RFC India experience has been incredible so far. This competition has helped me shed-off my fears related to offroading; difficult trails are now easier,” said Choudhary.
