The basics of the game have never changed; methods have changed as far as approach is concerned as different formats are introduced which include team work, celebrating team-mate’s success, how to talk to players going through lean patch etc., we want to make them feel this game that teaches a lot.”

“The four-day camp will give them exposure and make them understand more about the game.”

Sachin revealed that he discussed his most ambitious project with Kambli in a recent meeting and his old friend happily welcomed the idea to train young talents for Mumbai and India.

Earlier two camps were held in Mumbai at DY Patil Sports Centre, Navi Mumbai and MIG Cricket Club, Bandra this month where children from Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and rest of Maharashtra participated in the camp.

Kambli will be a part of the team that Tendulkar has put together for his academy, that he has launched in collaboration with the English county.
