Pune: The duo of Tanushree Rakshit and Swapnil Londhe from Pune will take part in the Acrobatic Rock n Roll event which will be held in the World Games in Wroclaw, Poland from July 20 to 30.
This will be the first time that a team from India will take part in the event which falls under Rhythm Sport category. They will perform on July 29.
Acrobatic Rock n Roll
Acrobatic Rock n Roll falls under the Rhythm Sports Category which is a highly famous sport in Russia. In this sport, the couple performs complex aerial and spinning moves to music along with specific footwork that’s required according to the set technique.
The World Games is a multi-sport event which is held once in every four years.
27 official sports and four invitational sports are featured in the Games.
