Mumbai: Bengal Warriors defeated Bengaluru Bulls 32-26 in an exciting contest of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 5, at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday.
For Bengal Warriors captain Surjeet Singh finished as the top scorer as he scored 8 points, while Jang Kun Lee added 6 followed by substitute Virender who scored 5.
The Warriors led right from the start of the game leaving the Bulls to play a catch up game. The score at half time read 11-9 in favour of Bengal Warriors.
In the second half the Warriors held their fort and put on an impressive display to extend their lead further which eventually stayed till the end thus enabling them to register their fourth victory of the season.
On the other hand, it was the sixth loss of the season for Bengaluru Bulls.
