Raja Bangla SC, who were playing after a gap of seven years, began on a high matching a well-set Super XI squad.

Eleven minutes into the game, Super XI breached the Raja Bangla SC defence when Anand Gaikwad scored to lead 1-0.

The goal proved to be a dampener for Raja Bangla who thereafter looked far from scoring as Super XI played around to weigh down their opponents.
