St Vincent’s boys impress in football

Earlier in the semi-finals, St Vincent’s defeated Mumbai 4-0 to enter the final. Vian Murgod opened the scoring for St Vincent’s in the 5th minute while Karan Madka scored the second goal in the 29th minute.

PUNE: St Vincent’s High School beat Kolhapur 2-0 in the finals of the State Level Football Championship which was held in Osmanabad from October 23-27. 

Bhargav Sawant scored the first goal for St Vincent’s in the 8th minute while Danish Chandargi scored the second goal in the 15th minute.

Earlier in the semi-finals, St Vincent’s defeated Mumbai 4-0 to enter the final. Vian Murgod opened the scoring for St Vincent’s in the 5th minute while Karan Madka scored the second goal in the 29th minute.

Danish Chandargi and Franklin added one goal each in the 35th and 40th minute as St Vincent’s won with ease.

In the quarterfinals, St Vincent’s defeated Aurangabad with the score reading 5-0.

Four boys has been selected from the team to represent Maharashtra which include  Franklin Nazareth, Karan Madke, Parth Rauth and Vian Murgod.
