Satchit, Karun, Sachin, Nilesh score contrasting victories

Pune: Satchit Jamgaonkar, Karun Pradeep, Sachin Sancheti, Alex Rego and Nilesh Patankar worked themselves hard to advance in the inaugural Sterlite Tech Cup India Open Snooker championship being played at The Q Club tables, Vimannagar.

In Thursday’s tough fight, Satchit Jamgaonkar managed to win against Sandeel Harliyali 65-26, 48-49, 58-22. 
In another encounter, Nilesh Patankar bounced back from a one frame deficit against Amardip Ghodke 35-61, 64-49, 43-34.

Alex Rego registered 58-46, 32-36, 56-18 win over Ravi Satode to advance further in the tournament.
PYC Hindu Gymkhana’s Sachin Sancheti scored a hard-fought win over Kirti Sirasala 64-79, 53-29, 81-48. Having lost the first frame 64-79, Sancheti rallied in the second and third frame to win them 53-29, 81-48.
Kaiwalya Jadhav scored back-to-back wins and confirmed his place in the next round. In the first match Kaiwalya beat Abhishek Satav 58-19, 41-33 and later scored an easy 49-8, 47-24 win over Pratik Chavan.
