Sardar Dastur, Deccan Gymkhana girls win

In another encounter of the day, Deccan Gymkhana ‘A’ defeated St Joseph High School with the score reading 49-31 to advance further.

PUNE: Sardar Dastur girls defeated SPM ‘A’ 38-25 in the quarterfinals of the 7th Late Sanjay Mahadeo Nimhan Memorial Under-16 Basketball Tournament in progress at the Deccan Gymkhana basketball court.

Vaishnavi Shinde and Palak Palrecha scored 8 points each for Sardar Dastur while Aditi Shah scored 8 points while Asmi Vora scored 7 points for SPM ‘A’.

In another encounter of the day, Deccan Gymkhana ‘A’ defeated St Joseph High School with the score reading 49-31 to advance further.

Shalini Shirole and Yukta Chordia scored 12 points each for Deccan Gymkhana. Meanwhile for St Joseph, Rajnandini Nimbalkar scored 17 points while Rikita Jadhav scored 8 points.

Also registering a victory was, Ideal who defeated Chondhe Patil Basketball Academy with the score reading 39-30. 

Oshin Ajanikar (19) and Jaai Kalekar (11) got on the scoreline for Ideal. 

For Chondhe Patil Basketball Academy, Mansi Nirmalkar scored 19 points while Vedanti Nahane scored 6 points.
