Pune: Rutuja Bhosale and Pranjala Yadlapalli continued their good run to grab second ITF $25K title on the trot defeating top seeds Naiktha Bains and Barbora Stefkova 2-6, 6-0, 10-6 in Nonthaburi, Thailand, here on Friday.
Rutuja and Pranjala rallied from one set down to complete a stunning victory.
Last month, the duo had defeated Pei Hsuan Chen and Fang-Hsieh Wu from Chinese Taipei 7-5, 6-2 at the same venue.
In the semi-finals, the Indian duo got the better of second-seeded pair from Japan Hiroko Kuwata and Junri Namigata 6-4, 7-6 (7-4).
“It’s fun to play with her, as we both bond well off the court as well, which helps us. We don’t get worked up if it gets tough. Mostly, we both laugh it out when we make stupid errors, keeping the pressure off,” Bhosale told Sakal Times.
