Fifth seed Anura looked clueless in front of a charged up unseeded Ruthvika and never found the rhythm to overcome her.

The Gopichand Academy player, Ruthvika started briskly and took an early lead in first game. Anura made few good moves but Ruthvika kept the momentum in her favour and won the first game 21-10.
