Pune skaters shine in Chennai

Siddhant Kamble had a memorable tournament, as he claimed two gold and two silver medals. Siddhant won gold medals in road elimination race, 1000 metre rink race and silver in rink point to point and rink elimination in the Under-16 category.

PUNE: City skaters came out with a good show in the 55th National Roller Skating Speed and Slalom championship at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai.

Siddhant Kamble had a memorable tournament, as he claimed two gold and two silver medals. Siddhant won gold medals in road elimination race, 1000 metre rink race and silver in rink point to point and rink elimination in the Under-16 category.

Shrutika Kshirsagar also claimed two medals, firstly Shrutika won silver in Road elimination.

Gold medals: Shrutika Kshirsagar, Riddhi Jadhav, Suwarnika Aar, Piyush More, Sakshi Mathwad, Suhad Surve, Siddhant Kamble, Varad Chaudhary
Silver medals: Tanishka Singh, Mahek Shah, Vikram Ingle, Siddhant Kamble
Bronze medals: Siddhi Nalwade, 
Slalom championship:
Gold medal: Swrali Joshi, Sheryashi Joshi, Darsh Shinde, Arhant Joshi, Vedant Kadam, Shrutika Sarode.
Silver medal: Rishita Maru, Visvesh Patil, Jinesh Nanal.
Bronze medal: Nikhil Sulakhe
