Pune to host ODI against West Indies

It will be the first international fixture, the MCA Stadium will host, one year and two days after a pitch-tampering sting by a Television Channel broke out on the day of the ODI against New Zealand, last October 25.

Pune: MCA International Stadium in Gahunje is all set to host a One Day International (ODI) match against West Indies on October 27, as the schedule for the West Indies tour of India was announced late on Wednesday night.

It will be the first international fixture, the MCA Stadium will host, one year and two days after a pitch-tampering sting by a Television Channel broke out on the day of the ODI against New Zealand, last October 25.

If the Indian team plays the final of the Asia Cup at Dubai Intenational Stadium in Dubai on September 28, then in then just six days, they will play their first match of the 2018 home season against West Indies in Rajkot, as the schedule was announced for two Tests, five ODI’s and three T20s.
