Patwardhan helps Zensar clinch gold medal in chess

The event is being organised on weekends beginning from April 6. 

Pune: Omkar Patwardhan from Zensar Technologies took home the gold medal in the chess competition by scoring the highest 6.5 points during the third edition of the Corporate Carnival which commenced from Saturday at Chondhe Patil Sports Complex, 
Vishal Nagar.

The event is being organised on weekends beginning from April 6. 
Talented chess player Miral Chevli from Dassault Systems after scoring 6 points bagged a silver medal and Virendra Bhati from Randstand India won a bronze medal with 5.5 points. The medalist had gone through a rigorous process of 7 rounds to win the medal.
In the quarterfinals of the table tennis men’s singles event, Arpit Srivastava of BNY Mellon got past Jay Kothari of Accenture 11-7, 13-11, 9-11, 6-11, 11-7. Arpit Gupta of BNY Mellon beat Abhishek Parmar of Dassault Systemes 13-11, 11-6, 11-9. 

Meanwhile, Vivek Kashyap from Accenture beat Kamal Singh of Adient India 11-7, 11-8, 11-4. 

Vaibhav Dahibhate from Customs And Central Excise beat Sudhanshu from Dassault Systemes 11-4, 11-7, 11-3.
