Paradkar-Gaikwad stand steers Cadence in Mandke Trophy

Varroc replied solidly with 85 runs for the loss of a solitary wicket in 13 overs with Sudhanshu Gundeti scoring 48 runs, leading the chase

Pune: A good opening partnership between Nikhil Paradkar and Ganesh Gaikwad helped Cadence reach a respectable total on the opening day at the PYC-Goldfieldd Mandke Trophy being played at the Varroc Vengsarkar Cricket Ground on Wednesday.

Batting first, Nikhil Paradkar scored 86 runs and Ganesh Gaikwad scored 54 runs which helped Cadence reach 174 before being bowled out in 39.3 (224-50 runs) against Varroc. Shubham Taiswal  claimed 5 wickets for 41 runs for Varroc.
