Paltan omits Deepak Hooda’s name from retainers list

Pune: Puneri Paltan has strategically decided not to retain its Pro Kabaddi League Season 5 captain Deepak Hooda for the coming season as the deadline to name retained players ended on Monday.

After five highly successful seasons, the VIVO Pro Kabaddi League, India’s biggest domestic sporting league, geared up for yet another season with the announcement of the “Elite Retained Players”.

Pune: Puneri Paltan has strategically decided not to retain its Pro Kabaddi League Season 5 captain Deepak Hooda for the coming season as the deadline to name retained players ended on Monday.

After five highly successful seasons, the VIVO Pro Kabaddi League, India’s biggest domestic sporting league, geared up for yet another season with the announcement of the “Elite Retained Players”.

“We wanted to retain the players who are good in corners and we have two ‘Right to Match’ cards wherein we will definitely go in for Deepak during the player’s auction,” Kailash Kandpal, CEO of Puneri Paltan told Sakal Times over phone.
