MMCC, Pune go down to Lankan School in Red Bull cricket final

Pune: Business Management School (BMS), Sri Lanka tamed Marathwada Mitramandal College of Commerce to lift the title in the Red Bull Campus Cricket World Final in Sri Lanka.

Needing 15 runs in final over, BMS held their nerves and chased down the target on the last ball. Pune’s MMCC could not handle pressure in the last over as they dropped two catches and conceded four byes which helped their opponent to cross the victory line.

Earlier, MMCC scored 211 for the loss of 2 wickets in 20 overs. Murtaza Shabbir  was the top scorer for MMCC remaining unbeaten on 76 runs. 
In reply, BMS was helped by Dineth Thimodya who played  a vital role for his team scoring 54 runs.
