Millennium School ensures semis berth with an easy win over ISST

Aryaraj Bhosale and Tejrao Chaudhari of Millennium School scored 14 points between them. Millennium School kept control over the game right from the start taking a 16-5 lead at the end of half time.

PUNE: Millennium School defeated ISST Basketball Academy 32-7 to enter the semi-finals of the Pheonix Sports Academy Ambegaon Under-13 Open District Basketball Tournament at Chintamani Dnyanpeeth on Thursday.

Aryaraj Bhosale and Tejrao Chaudhari of Millennium School scored 14 points between them. Millennium School kept control over the game right from the start taking a 16-5 lead at the end of half time. Millennium boys continued their impressive form after half time as well to advance into last four with an easy victory.

In the next quarter-finals, Falcons Sports Academy got the better of Millennium After School Activity 24-10 to move into the semi-final.

Sohan Bendre scored 8 points for Falcons while Megh Parekh also added four points to winning team’s tally.

For Millennium, Ankur Shaha added five points while Devansh Kadam managed to score two points.

Vidyanchal School also ensured a semi-final berth with a one-sided 45-13 victory over Sanjay Sawant Basketball Academy. Kunal Bhosale was the top scorer for Vidyanchal School with 21 points.

Vidyanchal School 45 (Kunal Bhosale 21, Pranav Dhekale 6) bt Sanjay Sawant Basketball Academy 13 (Tanish Chalke 9, Arnav Gaikwad 4) 

Millennium School 32 (Aryaraj Bhosale 8, Tejrao Chaudhari 6) bt ISST Basketball Academy 7 (Nihar Joshi 4, Rohan P 2).
