PUNE: Millennium School defeated Abhinava Vidyalaya 47-34 to lift the Under-14 boys title in the District School Basketball Tournament at Deccan Gymkhana on Monday.
Saket Nehrukar turned out to to be the star of the match as he scored 25 points for Millennium while he found able support from Om Thorat and Atharva Sukale as they scored 5 points each.
For Abhinava School, Ishaan Shah scored 14 points while Aadi Jagdale scored 9 points. Millennium boys held the upper hand over the match right from the start and they went into the half time with the score line of 20-18.
After half time, Abhinava boys made some sharp moves but Saket kept scoring for Millennium at regular interval to ensure victory for his team.
