Pune: Bishop’s Camp trounced Bishop’s Kalyani Nagar by 59 runs to clinch the Captain Shivrampant Damle Cricket Trophy at Kataria High School ground.
Bishop’s Camp rode high on Manliv Gahi’s 109 runs off 75 balls, which helped Bishop’s to set a challenging total of 260 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 30 overs.
In reply, Bishop’s Kalyani Nagar kept losing wickets and could not get the momentum while chasing the target. Coming to bat at No 4, Rachit Vora scored 53 runs. He got good support from Rishab Sabarwal, who scored 37 runs in 34 balls but in the end their team fell short of 59 runs. Manliv was named man of the match for his brilliant century.
