Manjusha clinches triple crown

Sahasrabudhhe won the Women’s Doubles, Women’s Singles and Mixed Doubles title in the 55+category.

PUNE: Manjusha Sahasrabudhhe finished with an impressive performance as she clinched a triple crown for the consecutive second year at the Yonex Sunrise 43 Rd Indian Master’s (Veteran) National Badminton Championship 2018-19 which concluded in Goa on Sunday.

Sahasrabudhhe won the Women’s Doubles, Women’s Singles and Mixed Doubles title in the 55+category.

Meanwhile Nupura Bhide won a double crown registering wins in the Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles events in 35 plus category. Leena Dhapre clinched the title in the Womens Singles 40 plus category.

In the Mixed Doubles, Manjusha teamed up with Ram Lakhan to defeat Harjit Singh and Neera Pasricha 12-21,23-21,21-9. In the singles match, Manjusha defeated Surekha Satam 21-8, 21-7.
