Maninder, Surjeet shine as Warriors defeat Panthers

Patna: Bengal Warriors dominated most of the proceedings as they defeated Jaipur Pink Panthers 39-28 during the Inter Zone Challenge Week  match of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 6 here at the Patliputra Sports Complex on Saturday.

The Warriors scored the first all out to go up 13-5. At half time, things seemed to be in control of Bengal, but on changing ends Jaipur made little turnaround.

The margin was reduced further as Ajinkya Pawar added some vigour with a successful raid for the Panthers  in the fourth minute of the second half as the scored 14-22.
In the fifth minute of the second half a Super Raid from Mahesh Goud saw the Warriors surging ahead 26-16 before tightening their grip on the match when Jang Kung Lee picked up a raid point.
