Manas beats Cahir to enter final

PUNE: Fourth seeded, Manas Dhamne had to sweat it out to outplay state mate Cahir Warik 7-5, 6-0 to enter the final of the 12th Ramesh Desai Memorial Sub-junior Tennis Nationals at the GA Ranade Tennis Complex in Mumbai on Friday.

Manas will face giant killer Rohan Agarwal of West Bengal who defeated third seeded Harsh Fogaat of Delhi 7-5, 3-6, 6-4 in a longest match of the day. 

CHANCE FOR TWO TITLES
Manas will be also compete in the doubles final partnering with Pranav Rethin. The duo got the better of Rohan Agarwal and Vansh Nandal with the score of 6-2, 6-2 in the semi-final. Manas and Pranav will now meet the top seeded pair of Harsh Fogaat and Rushil Khosla.

Under-12:
Girls: 3-Chandni Srinivasan (Guj) bt 1-Shruti Ahlawat (Har) 6-0, 6-1; 6-Tejasvi Dabas (Del) bt 5-Soha Singh (Kar) 6-0, 6-3.

Doubles: 1-Shruti Ahlawat and Maliksha Kuramu bt 5-Samiksha Dabas and Tejasvi Dabas 6-4, 6-1; 4-Nirali Padniya and Saumya Ronde bt Soha Singh and Chandni Srinivasan 6-2, 7-5.

Boys: 10-Rohan Agarwal (Ben) bt 3-Harsh Fogaat (Del) 7-5, 3-6, 6-4; 4-Manas Dhamne (Mah) bt 6-Cahir Warik (Mah) 7-5, 6-0.

Doubles: 1-Harsh Fogaat and Rushil Khosla bt Harsh Raghav and 3-Debasis Sahoo 6-3, 6-2; Manas Dhamne and Pranav Rethin bt Rohan Agarwal and Vansh Nandal 6-2, 6-2.
