Maharashtra finish runners-up

Pune: Hosts Maharashtra finished with an impressive performance as they finished runners-up of the National Sub-junior Taekwondo Competition which concluded here at the Rajaram Bhiku Pathare Stadium at Kharadi recently.

Maharashtra scored 109 points to finish as runners-up while Jharkhand scored 119 points to clinch the overall championship.
Standing on the third position was Manipur who scored 99 points. 
The compeition was held in Maharshtra after a period of 9 years. 
Around 1450 players from various states had taken part in the event.
