Viraaj Pardeshi, Ajinkya Balwadkar win key gold medals

Boys: Under-19: 2. Parth Kharate (Mah) 11:54.60. Under-17 (4x400m running, 10m air pistol): 2. Aryan Patil (Mah) 7:22.76; 3. Lahukumar Vaghunde 7:31.67.
Under-13: 1. Arjun Adkar (Mah) 5:00.40; 2. Shubham Deshpande 5:29.87; 3. Ajinkya Kuttarmare 5:45.45.
Girls, Under-19: 1. Rutuja Talegaonkar (Mah) 14:55.13; 2. Rishita Sri P (AP) 18:50.09; 3. Aarti Priyala M (AP) 22:57.41.
Under-17 (4x400m running, 10m air pistol): 1. Ifiya Ikkalwale (Mah) 8:08.62; 2. Maitrali Bhandari (Mah) 8:20.77; 3. Priya Chaugule (Mah) 8:34.59.
Under-15 (7m air pistol): 1. Ananya Namde (Mah) 7:53.13; 2. Mugdha Vavahal (Mah) 7:53.53; 3. Manali Ratnoji (Mah) 7:54.45.

Pune: Home pentathletes Viraaj Pardeshi, Ajinkya Balwadkar and Rutuja Talegaonkar won gold medals to help Maharashtra win the overall championship trophy in the inaugural National Laser Run Championship which was held the Balewadi Sports Complex.

As many as 160 athletes from 7 states took part in this event given that this was a selection tournament to pick national campers for the World Laser Run Championship scheduled in Dublin from September 25 to 28.
