Lancers emerge champion in the fifth edition

Lancers emerged champions outplaying Paladins in the finals of the fifth edition of the Green Box Mini football Championship organised by Green Box Recreation Pvt Ltd and played at Goel Ganga Legends, Bavdhan.

Pune: Lancers emerged champions outplaying Paladins in the finals of the fifth edition of the Green Box Mini football Championship organised by Green Box Recreation Pvt Ltd and played at Goel Ganga Legends, Bavdhan.

Atharva Kulkarni scored the opener in the seventh minute to give Lancers the lead. The second goal was scored by Prithviraj Satav in 12th minute which enabled Lancers to walk home with the title.
 
Lancers got of  Rs.50, 000/- and  Trophy for being the champions, while runners-up team Paladins received Cash Prize Rs. 25,000 and  Trophy. The prizes were given away at the hands of Prasad Nagarkar of Nagarkar Jewellers, Harsha Karandikar of Culture Pune, Shirish Alekar of Lokmanya Bank Ltd, Abhishek Boke, Hrishikesh Baravkar, Director of Green Box Pvt Ltd.
