Lahiri comes a step closer to PGA Tour card for next season

Boise, Idaho: Anirban Lahiri came closer to ensuring a PGA Tour card for the 2019-20 season as he opened the second of three events in the Korn Ferry Tour finals with a  three-under 68. That placed Lahiri at T-19th in the Albertsons Boise Open presented by Kraft Nabisco at the Hillcrest Country Club.

Lahiri was four shots behind co-leaders, Grayson Murray and Charlie Saxon who carded rounds of 7-under 64.

Good start for Aditi

Aditi Ashok got off to a steady start with two-under 70 that three birdied on the back after a one-over front nine in the first round of the CP Women’s Open.

Aditi opened with a string of pars before her first bogey on ninth. On the back nine she birdied 10th, 11th and 18th to finish at Tied-30th.

Aditi is currently 88th on the CME Globe rankings on the LPGA Tour.

Gangjee close to making cut in Japan

Rahjil Gangjee fought back hard with three birdies in a row and was one-under through 15 holes when rain stoppage and darkness ended play on the second day of the Shigeo Nagashima Invitational Segasammy Cup Golf Tournament in Japan. Gangjee, who shot even par 72 in first round is now one-under through 33 holes and was T-38th.

Diksha begins with even par 72

Diksha Dagar shot an even par 72 despite a closing bogey in the first round of the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open, which is co-sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour with LET Access Series.
