Kabaddi Championship from October 29

Pune: Over 133 Boys and Girls teams across Pune district  will be seen in action at the Srujan Super 20 Youth Kabaddi Championship from October 29 to November 19 at multiple venues across Pune district. 

The Youth Kabaddi Championship is an initiative which offers Kabaddi players in the age group of Under-20 a platform to demonstrate their talent, embrace sports as a holistic way of wellness in the future, and elevate their sports experience. 

Pune: Over 133 Boys and Girls teams across Pune district  will be seen in action at the Srujan Super 20 Youth Kabaddi Championship from October 29 to November 19 at multiple venues across Pune district. 

The Youth Kabaddi Championship is an initiative which offers Kabaddi players in the age group of Under-20 a platform to demonstrate their talent, embrace sports as a holistic way of wellness in the future, and elevate their sports experience. 

“The purpose of this tournament is to have mass participation at multiple venues in a short span of time,creating a funnel which will certainly streamline the process of sports introduction, development and eventual scouting and recruiting of the deserving talent into the main Pro League Teams,” said Rohit Pawar CEO Baramati Agro and ZP Member Baramati Taluka.
The event  is being organised by Kaustubh Deshpande of Excellar Sports and Entertainment and Arjuna Awardee Shantaram Jadhav will be technical director for this event. This event will be held under the guidance of Pune District Kabaddi Association.

Two teams of boys and two teams of girls from each zone will qualify for the playoffs and will play for the championship in a league-cum-knockout format to be played in Baramati on November 18 and 19.

Srujan Super 20
The Khed leg of the event will be held on October 29 at Hutatma Rajguru Mahavidyalaya, PCMC leg on November 4 at Dnyan Prabhodini Mahavidyalaya at Nigdi. The Pune city leg will be played at Nehru Stadium on November 5 and the Baramati leg will be held on November 11 at Krida Sankul.
