Jnana Prabodhini girls finish on top

16 boys teams and 8 girls teams had made it to the final round of the event. 

PUNE: Girls of Jnana Prabodhini Navanagar Vidyalaya, Nigdi, emerged victorious in the Obsty Race which took place at Chandrashekhar Agashe Physical Education College in Mukundnagar here on Wednesday.

The Jnana Prabodhini girls clocked 46 minutes, 4.40 seconds. 

Standing on the second position was Bharatiya Jain Sanghtana who finished with a timing of 48 minutes, 6.80 seconds while Renuka Swarup Prashala girls finished on third position with a timing of 89 minutes and 1.40 seconds.

16 boys teams and 8 girls teams had made it to the final round of the event. 

To complete the race, the boys had to clear 13 hurdles while the girls had to clear 12 hurdles.

Meanwhile in the boys category, Bharatiya Jain Sanghtana finished on top clocking 37 minutes, 10.60 seconds. Late Ramabhau Mhalgi Foundation stood on the second position, finishing with a timing of 41 minutes, 56.60 seconds.

SM Joshi Hindi School had to be content on the third position as they finished with a timing of 42 minutes, 5.90 seconds.

RESULTS: (Final):
Schools: Boys: 1. Bharatiya Jain Sanghtana 37 minutes, 10.60 seconds, 2. Late Ramabhau Mhalgi Foundation 41:56.60, 3. SM Joshi School 42:5.90.

Girls: 1.Jnana Prabodhini 46 minutes, 4.40 seconds, 2. Bharatiya Jain Sanghtana 48: 6.80, 3.Renuka Swarup Prashala 89: 1.40.

College: Boys: 1. Bharatiya Jain Sanghtana 10 minutes 49.58 seconds, 2. Nowrosjee Wadia College 11:54.11, 3. Shahu College 11:55.87.

Girls: 1. St Mira’s 10 minutes, 49.23 seconds, 2. Modern 11:00.71, 3. Shree Siddhivinayak Girls College 11:10.81.
