PUNE: GM Vidit Gujrathi from Nashik who recently qualified for the Tata Steel Masters 2019 was felicitated by city based sports NGO Lakshya on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion Gujrathi said “The journey has been very smooth. I am very thankful to Lakshya. I hope I continue with the good performance and we have a collaboration which will last really long.”
With the Asian Games and Commonwealth Games scheduled in 2018, at least a dozen players of the Sports NGO Lakshya are expected to be confirmed in the Indian contingent.
Speaking on the occasion the president of Lakshya, Vishal Chordia, the Hon secretary, Ashish Desai and the Player Head GM Abhijit Kunte said that it was indeed a fulfilling moment for the organisation to see the steady progress that its players have been making.
