Ferrero launches fourth edition at Baramati

Pune: Over 400 children in the age group of 5 to 12  from various schools of Baramati will be the part of the  fourth edition of Kinder+Sport Joy of Moving camp in Baramati.

Twenty physical instructors who were earlier coached by Kinder + Sport trainers from Italy will be training the students. 

Children will be divided into four age groups (5-6 yrs, 7-8 yrs, 9-10 yrs, and 11-12 yrs) in accordance with their physical and psychological-behavioral characteristics specific to their age groups.

The students will take part in various sports such as football, badminton, volleyball and athletics. 

The camp which is a part of Ferrero’s global CSR initiative will be held from June 2 to 6 and is aimed at promoting active lifestyles by encouraging dynamic play, sports among children and stimulating them to make physical activity an integral part of their lives.

“The Kinder+Sport project encourages physical activity across the younger generations, inspiring them to adopt active lifestyles to make it an integral part of their daily routine. Our aim is to gradually amplify the activity in nearby cities,” said Inder Chopra, Secretary General of Ferrero India. 

The camp was inaugurated by Sunetra Pawar, Founder, Environmental Forum of India in the presence of Stefano Pelle, Managing Director, Ferrero India, Ambassador Inder Chopra, Secretary General, Ferrero India, Advocate Ashok Prabhune, Vice President, Vidhya Prathisthan and other dignitaries.
