The result is all we want to change. That’s what it’s about. That’s what makes football so fun to be involved in. We weren’t happy with the 4 - 1 loss in the first game, and we are here to make amends for that.
- Teddy Sheringham (ATK coach)

PUNE: At the start of season 4 of the Indian Super League (ISL) when FC Pune City (FCPC) visited Kolkata, the home of defending champions, Atletico de Kolkata (ATK), they earlier had lost the opening fixture against Delhi Dynamos. But FC Pune City came out all-guns-blazing to hand the hosts a 4-1 trouncing.

On Saturday, the Stallions, take on the Kolkata outfit in the reverse fixture at the Balewadi Sports Complex with an aim to maintain their unbeaten record against the visitors at home, amidst their patchy form at this venue this season.

In the absence of their head coach Ranko Popovic from the touchline, Pune outfit, under their assistant coach Vladica Grujic have remained in the top four of the table. Despite failing to break the Chennaiyin FC jinx in their last outing, slumping to yet another 1-0 loss, Pune are third in the table with 16 points.

On the other hand, Atletico de Kolkata are coming on the back of a 1-0 victory against opponents NorthEast United FC, but still, find themselves eighth in the table with 12 points.

Should Teddy Sheringham coached side manage to break the Pune jinx, they will move up to fifth in the table, while should they fail to do so, Pune will consolidate their third position with 19 points from 11 outings.

Grujic will once again have services of Brazilian star and team captain Marcelinho along with Uruguayan forward Emiliano Alfaro to find the back of the net.
