DY Patil Ambi registers win

Pune: DY Patil Ambi defeated Trinity College Of Engineering and Research by six wickets in the All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society’s College Of Engineering’s Shivaji Cricket Trophy being played at Fergusson College ground here on Wednesday.

Batting first, Trinity College Of Engineering and Research managed to score 129 for 9 in 18 overs.

Rohan Havle top scored for Trinity with a 46 run knock. Adding to the score was Akshay Yeola who scored 39 runs.

Rohan Havle top scored for Trinity with a 46 run knock. Adding to the score was Akshay Yeola who scored 39 runs.

Chasing the required target, DY Patil Ambi achieved the target scoring 133 runs losing four wickets in 16.1 overs. Shubham Tiwari was in good form as he scored 36 runs while Aman Mukhiya remained not out scoring 20 runs as the DY Patil lads walked home with the win.

In another match, MES COE defeated MIT Alandi by eight wickets. Batting first, MIT Alandi scored 126  runs in 20 overs with a loss of nine wickets. Chetan Verma scored 36 runs while Akash Saste chipped in with 17 runs.

Meanwhile Kunwar Rajdeep remained not out scoring 14 runs.
Chasing the required target MES COE scored 127 runs losing just two wickets in 17 overs. Rishabh Bamboli top scored with 65 runs while Farzan Shaikh remained not out scoring 40 runs for MES COE.

MIT Alandi 126 for 9 in 20 overs (Chetan Verma 36, Kunwar Rajdeep 14*, Adithya R 4-25) lost to MES COE 127 for 2 in 17 overs (Rishabh Bobade 65,Farzan Shaikh 40*). 
Trinity College Of Engineering 129 for 9 in 18 overs (Rohan Halve 46,Akshay Yeola 39, Meheer Hegde 4-15) lost to DY Patil Ambi 133 for 4 in 16.1 overs (Shubham Tiwari 69, Aman Mukhiya 20*,Rohan Haule 2-26). 
Zeal COE And Research 106 for 8 in 20 overs (Prashant Bansode 32, Ganesh Paygude 26, Yogesh Date 3-25) lost to AISSMS COE 110 for 3 in 12.1 overs (Vibhav Narde 65, Prathamesh Bhindave 26*, Ram Nichal 2-13).
