DGQA hosts ‘mini run’ to celebrate Diamond Jubilee

The Mini-Marathon was organised in different age categories starting with children below 18 years and for elders, staff, employees and family members of DGQA Organisation located in Pune.

PUNE: The Senior Quality Assurance Establishment (SQAE-A) Khadki, on behalf of the Directorate General Quality Assurance conducted Mini-Marathon for all its units located in Pune on Sunday as part of the DGQA’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

The Mini-Marathon was organised in different age categories starting with children below 18 years and for elders, staff, employees and family members of DGQA Organisation located in Pune.

Maj Gen Sanjay Chauhan, Controller CQA (A) Khadki, was the chief guest on the occasion who also participated in the run. A large number of participants including ladies from all the establishments participated in the event, which was flagged off by Col YC Pandey, Senior Quality Assurance Officer of the SQAE (A).

The run began from the main gate of Ammunition Factory Khadki and all participants received due recognition for their participation and were felicitated.

Alex Pereira, aged 59 years and 7 months was the oldest participant, while Bisnut Malhotra, aged 5 years, was the youngest. The event was supported by “Maruti Sai Service” and “SBI”.
