Cyclist Gokulnath awarded

Pune: Pune’s cyclist Srinivas Gokulnath was awarded the Britannia Good Day-Smile Makers of India award recently. 

Srinivas Gokulnath is an army doctor by profession and a cyclist from Pune. 

Last year, he cycled 3,000 miles across 12 Indian states, and become the first Indian to complete Race across America (RAAM) in the year 2017. 

Gokulnath who has unflinchingly served the nation for 14 years, served patients in grueling conditions such as in Siachen.

That is why Britannia Good Day felicitated him for his unstinting determination to spread smiles and optimism. Gokulnath will get an all-expenses-paid international trip for him and his family.

Speaking about his journey, Gokulnath said, “I am really excited at being recognised a Smile Maker and for the time out with my wife, that I am soon going to be embarking on”.
