Champions Sportive Series set for Pune ride

The top 3 winners (Men and Women) from the competitive leg from each city, will get a chance to ride at ‘The Champions Sportive Series-Grand Finale’ in Delhi, against the winners from all 8 cities. The date for the final is yet to be decided. 

PUNE: Amateur cyclist from the city have one more opportunity to showcase their talent as Champions  Sportive Series - a multi-city cycling championship is ready  to roll down in Pune here on September 24.

The event format is split into two parts comprising of a competitive leg - 102km race and non-competitive part of the event - 50km ride. 

The top 3 winners (Men and Women) from the competitive leg from each city, will get a chance to ride at ‘The Champions Sportive Series-Grand Finale’ in Delhi, against the winners from all 8 cities. The date for the final is yet to be decided. 

The Championship started from, Silicon Sportive Valley, Bengaluru on August 20. Then the rally moved to Gurgaon, Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai before coming to Pune. The Championship  will be also conducted in  Chandigarh and Chennai before the final in Delhi.

Deccan Sportive
The Pune leg will be known as Deccan Sportive which will comprise of 102 km endurance race, and a 50 km ride. The 102 km race will be the competitive leg of the sportive, while the 50 km segment will be a leisure ride. The last date of registeration is September 23.
