In football, St. Peter’s fell behind by a 14th minute goal scored by Arjun Jachak of Bishop’s but fought back brilliantly immediately after when forward Hemanshu Kundhadia fired back-to-back volleys with the first rattling the horizontal and the other sailing just over. St. Peter’s, who earlier drew Campion in a goalless encounter, intensified their search for the equaliser in the second half but it eluded them even as Siddhart Tamrakar almost swelled Bishop’s tally with two quick attempts at goal, with the second shot being saved by Peter’s goalkeeper Bhargav Sharma.

In the Junior College league, Cathedral & John Connon, Mumbai registered back-to-back wins over Hutchings, Pune and Christ Church, while Bombay Scottish, Mahim drew Christ Church 1-1 and defeated Hutchings 1-0.
