Pune: BEG defeated Khadki United 3-1 in the tie-breaker to advance further in the 9-A-Side Hockey Tournament being played at Major Dhyan Chand Poligras Stadium, Pimpri on Tuesday.

Khadki United equalised in the very next minute through Rishabh Avhad.
The score at full time was 1-1 which led to the tie-breaker in which BEG walked away with the win.

In the tie-breaker, M Premananda and Rahul Tirkey scored for BEG.
In another match, Food Corporation of India defeated Priyadarshini Sports Centre 4-2 to enter the semi-finals. 

For FCI, Chirag Mane scored two goals in the 18th and 33rd minutes while Venkatesh Kenche added two more in the 35th and 38th minutes respectively.

For Priyadarshini Sports Centre, Ajinkya Kalbhor (19th) and Adarsh Jadhav (39th) got on the scoreline.

In the girls battle, 5 Star defeated Kida XI 2-0 while PSC defeated KES 1-0.
