Anmay stuns 2nd seed Arjun to enter semis

Pune: Anmay Devaraj came out with an ace game to stun second seeded Arjun Gohad 7-5, 7-5 to enter the semifinal of the MSLTA - Yonex Sunrise Hotel Ravine National Series Under-14 Tennis Tournament at Ravine Hotel tennis courts in Panchgani here on Thursday.

Anmay from Karnataka came out with the super show to wrap up the match in straight set against Maharashtra’s Arjun.
Another Karnataka boy Ronin Lotlikar ensured a place in the semi-final defeating Shivam Kadam from Maharashtra 6-3, 6-0. 
Fourth seeded Ayushman Arjeria continued good run defeating tenth seeded Monil Lotlikar of Karnataka 7-6 (7-4), 4-6, 6-3.
Aayush Bhat also advanced with a 3-6, 6-1, 6-1 win over Daksh Agarwal.

Maharashtra girls proved their prowess in the girls section with three players reaching in the semi finals. 

Tops seeded Radhika Mahajan handed a double bagel to state mate Harshita Bangera winning the contest 6-0, 6-0 with ease. 

Seventh seeded Pari Singh rallied past Madhya Pradesh’s Amishi Shukla 6-1, 6-7 (4-7), 6-3. Kundana Bandaru of Karnataka got better of Abhaya Vemuri of Telangana 6-4, 6-1 to be the lone non Maharashtra player in the last four. Kundana will take on second seeded Vaishnavi Adkar who served out sixth seed Harsshali Mandavkar 6-2, 6-3.
