Akshaya, Pratik in Maharashtra team

Pune: City-based power-lifters Akshaya Shedge and Pratik Jadhav have been selected to represent Maharashtra in the Western India power-lifting and bench-press championship to be held in Goa from December 18 to 20.

The two from Soman’s Health Club, have found place in the Maharashtra team announced on Thursday. Akshaya will take part in the women’s 63-kg weight category in the power-lifting championship.
