Abinash, Pallabi earn 30m gold

Bishnu Bahadur Thapa and Dipti Kumari clinch yellow metal in 50m category of Indian round


Pune: Abinash Boro from Meghalaya and Pallabi Boro from All India Police Sports Control Board (AIPSCB) clinched the 30 metre gold medal of the Indian round event in the 38th Senior National Archery Championship at Archery Outdoor Range, Army Sports Institute here on Friday.

Abinash, who was fighting for the gold against Reshma Bahadur Budhathoki of Services Sports Control Board (SSCB) won the first three rounds of the best of five contest. The bronze went to Prakash Gurung. Amongst the women, W. Malesori Devi from Manipur and Dipti Kumari from Jharkhand won the silver and bronze medals.
