5 Stars girls capture the trophy

Pune: Kirkee 5 Star girls defeated PCMC 2-0 to lift the trophy in the One Day Festival Hockey Tournament at Major Dhyan Chand Hockey Poligras Stadium on Sunday.

Pooja started quickly for 5 Star scoring first goal in the 7th minute then Durga Shinde stuck in the 15th minute to make it 2-0.
The 5 Star girls dominated the game completely and did not allow PCMC to score a single goal.

In the boys final, Krida Prabodhini played an impressive hockey to notch a 3-1 victory over Central Railway.
Rise Mujawar started the proceeding for the Prabodhini scoring first goal in the 7th minute. Eight minutes later, Ajinkya Jadhav scored the second goal for his team to make it 2-0.

All was coming good for Krida Prabodhini as in the next minute, Venkatesh Kenche goals gave them the upper hand in the match.
After that Aniket Muthaya pulled out one goal for the Central Railway but it does not make the much impact as Krida Prabodhini raced away with a victory.

Results:
Boys: Krida Probodhini Balewadi 3 (Rise Mujawar 7th, Ajinkya Jadhav 15th, Venkatesh Kenche 16th) bt Central Railway, Pune 1 ( Aniket Muthaya 17th).
Girls: 5 Star 2 (Pooja Rathod 7th, Durga Shinde 15th) bt PCMC 0.
