Youth strangulated to death in Talegaon

The deceased was identified as Prakash Nihal, a native of Jalana, who was residing in Dhayari. The complaint regarding the murder was registered by one Gajanan Shinde, a resident of Dhayari, at Talegaon police station.

Pune: A 25-year-old man was strangulated to death by an unidentified person in Talegaon on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday. His body was found by locals close to Aadhe village in Talegaon off Pune–Mumbai Expressway during the early hours of Thursday. 

The deceased was identified as Prakash Nihal, a native of Jalana, who was residing in Dhayari. The complaint regarding the murder was registered by one Gajanan Shinde, a resident of Dhayari, at Talegaon police station.

According to the police, prima facie it seems that the murder weapon was a wire and the murderer threw the body from a bridge in Aadhe village to conceal the victim’s identity.
