Pune: A youth died after being hit by a local train near Dehu Road railway station on Wednesday.
According to information provided by Dehu Road station railway police, the incident occurred at around 9 pm on Wednesday. The deceased was hit by the Lonavla-Pune local train, which was arriving at Dehu Road railway station. The deceased was hit by the train and was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
The deceased was wearing a black pant with a flowered shirt. He was 5.2 feet tall and was in his early thirties.
Police are trying to find out about his identity so that they can inform his kin.
