Woman duped of Rs 1.16 lakh

Pune: A woman was duped for Rs 1 lakh by the tricksters on the pretext of providing her with a home loan. A case in this regard was registered at Bharati Vidyapeeth police station. The police have booked three unidentified accused including two women in the case.

According to the Bharati Vidyapeeth police, the accused lured the woman into her trap on the pretext of providing her with a loan. They tricksters identified themselves as officials of Shakti Finance and promised to provide a home loan of Rs 20.2 lakh.

According to the Bharati Vidyapeeth police, the accused lured the woman into her trap on the pretext of providing her with a loan. They tricksters identified themselves as officials of Shakti Finance and promised to provide a home loan of Rs 20.2 lakh.

However, under the garb of providing her a loan, they made her transfer Rs 1.16 lakh in the account number provided by them in the name of loan processing fees. The police have registered a case of cheating against the unidentified accused.
